Baptism is a wonderful way to express your faith in Christ. So if you have recently come to Christ or have recommitted your life, Baptism is for you.
Baptism is a physical act that symbolizes our identity with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection. The submersion in the water represents that you have died to your old life and desires. As you are raised up out of the water, it represents your new life in Christ. It is an outward demonstration of what God has done on the inside, and what Christ did for you on the cross.
The only requirements for baptism are that you believe in Jesus Christ and that you understand what baptism represents. And to help you understand we’ll have you attend a class on baptism. You can go to the class and be baptized on the same day. The class meets prior to our second service at 10:45 every Baptism Sunday. You’ll have an opportunity to sign up for our next Baptism six weeks prior to the date.
